    “ARARAT” COCKTAILS

    For decades French classic cognac based cocktails were favorites of European and American community. A huge plurality of sweet, bitter and acidic cocktails were born, they have conquered the hearts of millions and have become an inseparable part of all bars menus. And now, in twenty first century the culture of cognac based cocktails is entering Armenian society. With Armenian cognac, that until now was sipped exclusively neat, now many bartenders create quite specific and unique cocktails. Usually purely Armenian products, such as Armenian fruit brandies, sparkling wines and even Armenian jam are emphasized. The mixology of those new ingredients is a real Art. Below you can find recipes of some unique cocktails, based on world-famous Ararat cognac-style brandies. And, by the way, one extra thing should be mentioned. Enjoying cognac with ice is also not a crime. SPARKLE OF SUMMER Ingredients Ararat Apricot - 35ml Apricot jam - 20ml Freshly squeezed lemon juice - 20ml Armenian dry sparkling wine - 100ml 1. To mix all ingredients, except sparkling wine in a shaker, and pour in a champagne glass. 2. Top up with Armenian dry sparkling wine. 3. Decorate with a small dried apricot. PINEAPPLE Ingredients Ararat cognac - 40ml Simple syrup - 15ml Lemon juice - 15ml Pineapple fresh - 40ml White grape - 30g. 1. Stretch the grapes in a shaker. 2. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix. 3. Strain into a glass with ice. 4. Serve in a cocktail glass ARMENIAN BEAUTY Ingredients Ararat cognac - 50ml Rose jam - 20g. Egg white - 10g. Simple syrup - 15ml Raspberry puree (or raspberry 5 pieces) - 20g. Lemon juice - 20ml 1. Mix all ingredients in a shaker. 2. Serve in a chilled Margarita glass. 3. Decorate with dried rose petals.
