Grape variety: 45% Haghtanak, mainly grown in Ararat valley in Armenia, 55% Areni Noir, cultivated in mountainous and sub-mountainous areas of Vayots Dzor region of Armenia. Soil conditions: Ararat valley: chestnut soil with clayey and loamy structure. Vayots Dzor region: loam, carbonate soil with lime in some areas. Fermentation: Both grape varieties were fermented separately with different yeast cultures on the skins. After fermentation, both wines were aged in stainless steel tanks. Color: Deep ruby. Aroma: Combination of ripe cherry, black berries, and dry fruits. Taste: Wine with medium body, with ripe cherry special for Areni Noir, and black berries, dry fruits, and smooth tannins special for Haghtanak grape.
