Bottled at natural colour, the result is an exquisite Laphroaig with our trademark ‘peat reek’ matched by an additional layer of complexity and depth brought about by the fusion of the maturation styles and different oaks. The peculiarity of Laphroig pot steels is that it is located in an extremely narrow corner, which contributes to the separation of purer alcohols. And because of that, despite the scent of Laphroig's oppressive phenolic smoke, it is extremely soft, and quite easy to drink. The main taste features are smoke, iodine and algae.
