The fresh aroma of this wine is reminiscent of the inner courtyard of the high Armenian mountain monasteries. Its ruby-red color with light violet shading reminds of the sunset in the mountain mist and its crystal clear aroma is complemented with the flavors of ripe berries and wild flowers. Its gentle velvet flavor is revealed in the combination of cherries and red currant accompanied with ripe blackberry, raspberry, prune and light spicy aromas and flower flavor. The long-lasting aftertaste is dominated by black currant, blackberry and cherry flavors. The wine is produced following the tradition of Armenian monastery wines (aged for six months in clay karases), from Areni , Haghtanak and Milagh grape varieties cultivated in the terroirs of the Ararat Valley and Vayots Dzor.
